Tips

Nibsburner offers over 40 tips in two different styles, removable tip and fixed tip for all your pyrographic needs.  Whether you are a woodburner or a pyrographer wanting affordable flexibility, the Nibsburner replaceable tips are for you.  Each woodburning tip manufactured by Nibsburner is made with the pyrographer in mind. Hand crafted, razor sharp and polished.

Nibsburner's fixed tips are soldered into the vented woodburning handpieces.  This allows the tip to maintain the desired heat during heavy, continuous use.   Tip heat recovery is almost instantaneous. No oxidation on the tips, means no corrosion.

Tips will last longer using a lower temperature.  Nibsburner recommends using a 3 or 4 setting on the Nibsburner system dial.  Reoccurring high temperatures will decrease the life of the tip.

Nibsburner's double beveled chisel tips are excellent for all general pyrography including long straight lines of quills, gentle curving lines on feather barbs, and fine details on miniatures.  For all woodburning on wood, gourds and leathers.

All Nibsburner woodburning systems come with a #1D tip. Custom tips are available upon request for a nominal charge.

Chisel Tips

Price $7.00 each

The largest of our chisel tips is a great choice for & fine detailing, quill lines and long straight lines on primary feathers.

1A LARGE POINT

Smaller than 1A but with a heavy point. Ideal for birds, gourds, leather and general pyrography where you need a broader stroke.

1B HEAVY POINT

This smaller tip works like 1A and 1B. Use it where the larger tips cannot reach.

1C SMALL POINT

Half small point for burning short, straight lines or gentle curving lines on feather barbs of small birds. Popular with pyrographers for cutting and fine detail. Included in most of our systems.

1D HALF SMALL PT

Smaller point for cutting fine detail on small birds. This is great for burning feather barbs.

1DS SMALLEST PT

Our super smallest tip measures approximately 1/16” (one-sixteenth inch) long. It is amazing for fine detail on miniatures, cutting and detailing gourds and leather.

1DSS SUPER SMALL

These tips are like the 1C but curved along the edge to produce a curved line. 1CR curves to the right and 1CL curves to the left. Carvers use these for burning feather barbs.
